Asia Oil and Gas Show 2008 gains International Support

Asia Oil and Gas Show 2008 scheduled from 25 to 27 June at the Pacific Hall, Seoul S. Korea gained the support of eminent International organizations engaged in oil and Gas industry.

Abdul Salam Al Madani President of INDEX Holding the organizer of the show unveiled this. The prime supporters of this significant show are the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries OPEC. The twelve member’s organization OPEC is the main player in the oil and gas industry in the entire world. The Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries OAPEC has also initiated the support of Asia Oil and Gas Show 2008. OAPEC members are the Arab countries who are holding the membership of OPEC too. The Show gained the support of the Regional Clean Sea Organization RECSO. The prime objective of RECSO is to protect the marine environment in the Gulf Region from pollutions. The Association of British Offshore Industries and British Ports and Terminals Group the affiliate’s of the Society of Maritime Industries the voice of the United Kingdom maritime business sector support have also extended their support. Seoul Convention Bureau, the fabulous venue for international conventions in the south East Asia.

Abdul Salam Al Madani said a sizable number of national and multinational companies actively operating in the oil and gas industry in the Gulf Region, the Middle East and internationally came forward to support and reserve space in the exhibition. The upcoming Oil and Gas Show designed to accommodate country pavilions and individual companies from the Gulf region and the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Russia and from other European countries. South Korea, China, and other Far Eastern countries will have strong representation in this significant show. Special pavilions for international and regional organizations have catered for he added.

Khamis Jumma Buamim President of the Regional Clean Sea Organization RECSO and the Chair of Asia Oil and Gas 2008 Conference, which runs in conjunction with the show said the upcoming Conference will be a historic economic and technical international gathering. This highly important event comes at a time when an intensive dialogue on the future prospects of the international oil industry takes momentum. Oil and gas future development, sources of energy supply and its economic, technological developments, and environmental impacts will be one of the conference topics Buamim added.

The conference will address issues associated with the world oil and gas industry with special emphases on Asia and the Pacific. Outlook of Asia’s oil and gas, the Asian refining industry, the Asian oil and gas market , new ventures , finance and opportunities ,  oil and gas service industry, projects management and environment are the subjects to be addressed by the conference said Buamim.
