Eighty years ago, when Dubai was a small fishing, pearl diving and trading village, the late Grandfather and Father Al Madani started a family business of tailoring and textile trading in Deira Old Souq (1928), which was the largest market in the region. As Dubai’s business environment grew rapidly in the 70s and 80s, son Abdul Salam Al Madani joined and worked closely with his father’s wisdom and determination. As a result of the father’s wisdom and determination of the young son, INDEX Trading was established in 1983....

Along with the wise vision of our late ruler, HH Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum to develop Dubai into a modern city of tourism, trade and industry, an new company, INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organisation Establishment was born in 1991, highly specialised in organising national, regional, and international medical, scientific, educational and trade conferences and exhibitions.

During 19 years, INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organisation Establishment was able to put together more than 400 events. These events were always honoured by the patronage and support of HH Late Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Finance, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, President of Dubai Health Authority. Today, INDEX organises more than 20 events yearly and that has put INDEX at the forefront, leading the industry of organising events.

Under the leadership of HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, the country is moving into new dimensions and challenges. INDEX is committed to accept these challenges.
