Dubai , attended by  a large number of businessmen from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other emirates.

Mr. Abdul Salam in his welcome speech said business and economic relationships and cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Korea is witnessing remarkable development particularly after the visit of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.

He added  the UAE – Korea business Forum organized by Index Conferences and Exhibition Organizing Establishment member of INDEX Holding and attended by Sheikha Lubna Bint Khaled Al Qasimi Minister of Economy accompanied by over 150 businessmen and investors from the UAE. The Forum has significantly boosted the economic cooperation between the UAE and Korea. As a direct result of this initiative the inflow of Korean investment in Dubai’s real estate sector surged to over $1 billion in the 1st half of 2007 and expected to double in the coming few years.

He encouraged UAE participants to create real business relationships with their Korean counterparts, as INDEX Holding is doing. We are expanding our international business operations through our business base in Seoul the Korean capital. Korea business environment is very conducive, Abdul Salam added.
